At the final stop on the Zumiez Couch Tour in St. Paul we saw some amazing skating go down in the finals. Cody Davis came out and destroyed the course. He took third place with a frontside hurricane and kickflip 50-50 down the rail. He also landed a backside 360 and tre flip down the stairs.

With Chicago being one of the best turnouts of the Zumiez Best Foot Forward Am Series presented by Bones Wheels, the skating was top-notch. Best Foot Forward 2010: Eatontown, NJ

After Philadelphia, the next Zumiez Best Foot Forward contest presented by Bones Wheels was held in New Jersey where plenty of rippers showed up to compete. James Pitonyak was skating well all day with consistency and a great style. Despite a heavy rain delay, Philadelphia turned out to be a rad contest. John Osbourne took the hardest slam of the day, but was fine after he shook it off. It was good to be back in Baltimore for the second year with plenty of rippers skating the Zumiez street course. Chris Mentlik took third place this year with some tech tricks. His nollie backside flip down the stairs, nollie cab to lipslide down the rail and kickflip back nosegrind on the hubba were some of the tricks he landed in the finals.

Dallas was the best stop of the BFF tour so far, as far as the talent level from top to bottom. We had over 30 skaters in each of the Open Qualifier and Invite round, because there were that many rippers that showed up.

Denver has one of the best skate scenes in the country; great spots and great skaters, so we knew this stop would be amazing. Every time that the Zumiez Best Foot Forward tour stops in Denver, that winner always makes the top 3, and moves on to the HH Finals at X Games, so we’ll see how they do this year.

Repeating as winner this year was Tyson, looking about 12″ taller than last year and popping his tricks bigger too; he gets to rep Salt Lake in the BFF Tour Finals again. Tyson had one stretch in that last jam session where he landed 4 bangers in a row down the double-set. That sealed the deal as far as the judges were concerned.
